Rio is sired by One Hot Krymsun, 4X Congress Champion and World Champion in 2 year old, Junior and Senior western pleasure, the Triple Crown! His dam, Krystal Zipper, is by Zippo Pine Bar and she received a ROM before an injury ended her show career. Krystal Zippers dam, Maid of Crystal, had 869 points, 8 Superiors, 18 ROM's and 2 Reserve World Championships.

Rio is in western pleasure training with Jason Stender of La Crescent, MN. Jason put 96 pleasure points on our other Paint Horse stallion, Absolootly A Zippo, with limited showing. They are an awesome team and Jason is very excited about the way Rio is moving. Nothing bothers this horse and he is so willing to please. Rio is doing what he is supposed to do, riding like a great pleasure horse, hoping to follow in his fathers hoofprints.

Rio is in several futurities, including Breeders Trust, AQHA Incentive Fund, NSBA, Iowa Paint and Quarter, N. Carolina Quarter Horse, Carolina Paint and Minnesota Paint.
