About Senic View Ranch
It's been nearly 40 years ago that I saw my first Paint Horse Show. Lowell Miller was showing Little Joe Bailey. I decided I wanted to breed some mares to this horse, so my friend Gary Soper and I went to talk to Lowell. For those who knew Lowell Miller, you won't be surprised when I say that I went home owning Little Joe Bailey. That's how I started raising Paints and Quarter Horses. Lowell and I became the best of friends and I learned plenty about the business from him. My 3 sons and I milked cows too, but eventually switched to fitting horses.

And a special thanks to Leon and Terry Borcherding. Over the last thirty years they have shown many of our great horses - from Superior Awards to World Champions.

We have raised some great horses and stood some fine stallions. Horses like Mark IV, Puffed Man, Mr. Lu Ack, Im Cool Enough, Status Quo, Scenic Bar Leo, Zippo Cash Bar, Huslers Ole Man, Zip to Hustle, Pretty Coosamatic, Scenic Frosted Jet, Scenic Pahaska, Surprise Tag, Scenic By Tardy, Scenic Tequila Bars (Multiple World Champion Mare), A Scenic Impulse, Colonel Coosader, and Absolootly a Zippo.

In 1994, I started raising elk. I bought some Manitoba cows and an own son of "Reed". I wanted the best genetics for producing trophy antlers and body weight. I added wild sheep to the ranch. The ewes have been crossed on Rocky Mountain Big Horn rams. So far the result has been awesome.

The friends I have made in this business are too numerous to thank. So to all of you, I thank you for your business, your trust and your friendship.
